Amid rise in cases, DRDO reopens Covid hospital in national capital

- DRDO has reopened the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel COVID hospital in the national capital amid rising cases. All the available beds have been filled and 250 more beds will be added in the facility by Thursday. The beds available at the hospital are all ICU beds with ventilator facility. The air conditioning in the hospital is according to WHO standard. India's tally of Covid-19 cases climbed to 1,53,21,089 with over 20 lakh active cases. India has been dealing with the second wave of the Cornavirus after coronavirus infections had fallen considerably in February this year.
