Updated on May 06, 2020 09:12 pm IST

Union government has called the Covid-19 situation in Maharashtra 'concerning'. The state remains the hardest hit by the new coronavirus, with over 15,500 cases of infection so far. Over 600 deaths have been reported in the state. Union health minister Harsh Vardhan said that 34 out of 36 districts in the state have been affected by the Covid pandemic. Gadchiroli and Wardha remain the outliers. Vardhan said that we need to reach a stage where all districts are in the 'green zone', ie, without any new cases in 21-28 days.
