Covid surge in Kerala while most of India sees decline: Central team’s findings

- As India sees a decline in Covid-19 cases, Kerala is still reporting a surge. Centre sent a six-member team to assess the situation in Kerala. The team, headed by Dr. Sujeet Singh of NCDC is back after visiting districts in Kerala and revealed the findings. Union Health Ministry’s Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said that one team visited Malappuram and found an upward trend in positivity rate. Agarwal also spoke on relaxations done in Kerala.
