From Delhi's spike in cases to Gautam Gambhir self-isolating, here are the top updates on the coronavirus pandemic. The national capital recorded over 7,000 cases in 24 hours for the first time. Delhi has been seeing a huge spike in daily Covid cases with the capital recording over 6,000 cases daily for the last three days. Meanwhile, a US-based study suggested that people with long exposure to PM 2.5 are more likely to die from Covid-19. Delhi has been seeing a rise in pollution for the past few weeks. The Supreme Court on Friday asked the Centre to ensure there is no smog in Delhi. Also, Anganwadis, schools, panchayat buildings will be used as Covid-19 vaccination sites.
