‘Covid vaccination done for free at govt hospitals in India’: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Covid-19 vaccination was being done for free at government hospitals. PM Modi was addressing Janaushadhi Diwas celebrations via video conferencing. “We are proud of our scientists for we now have ‘Made in India’ vaccine for us and the rest of the world. Covid-19 vaccination is being done for free at government hospitals in India. Covid-19 vaccine costs ₹250 in private hospitals which is the cheapest in world. Even I got my first dose of Covid-19.” PM Modi added, “1.5 lakh health and wellness centre are being made in villages out of which 50,000 have already started functioning. These centres will be equipped to tackle serious health issues.” Watch the full video for more.
