Delhi: ITBP counters monkey menace at Covid centre with cutouts of baboons

- ITBP has come up with a unique idea to counter monkey menace at a Covid-19 facility. ITBP has placed cutouts of baboons at premises of Delhi's Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre. As per reports, personnel at the facility have been witnessing attacks from monkeys. Troupes of monkeys were reportedly targeting the personnel wearing PPE kits. The cutouts of baboons have meanwhile kept the monkeys away from entering the premises. These cutouts are randomly rotated everyday across the Covid centre in Chhatarpur. The 500-bed Sardar Patel CCC is managing over 400 Covid patients on oxygen support. Delhi has reported over 6,700 fresh Covid cases and more than 300 deaths in the last 24 hours.
