‘Omicron like viral fever…’: What Yogi Adityanath said on new Covid variant

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath dismissed concerns of a potential third wave of Covid-19. He said the Omicron variant of Covid is like viral fever & urged people not to panic. “It's true that Omicron is highly contagious. However, it is also true that compared to the second wave, the Omicron variant is weaker and is comparable to a simple viral fever.” said the Uttar Pradesh chief minister. “Safety precautions are necessary when dealing with any disease.
