- After startling visuals from hill stations like Manali, Mussoorie, and Dharamshala, now a huge number of tourists are being seen in Uttarakhand's Nainital. Visuals showed a large crowd at the Naini lake, and thronging the town's markets. Such mass inter-state movement and lack of precautions in public has reignited fears of a third Covid-19 wave in India. Tourists continue to indulge in 'revenge travel', despite warnings by the Central government that the virus' threat remains even though curbs are being eased.
