Delhi Police Installs CCTV Cameras In Jantar Mantar Ahead Of Protests On Oct 10 | HT India

Security preparations have intensified at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar ahead of the planned Cockroach Janata Party protest targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. CCTV cameras have been installed around the protest site as authorities prepare to monitor activity and manage public order. The planned demonstration comes after Delhi Police denied the group permission to hold its October 10 protest, citing short notice and prevailing security concerns. Police have also warned that gatherings violating restrictions in force in the New Delhi area could lead to legal action. The increased surveillance highlights the heightened security measures around the planned demonstration as the dispute over the protest continues.
