Did a Russian operation target Britain’s PM? Fake Trump aide contact sends No.10 into security panic

Britain faces a fresh security scare after Prime Minister Andy Burnham reportedly exchanged messages with someone impersonating Donald Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles. Only a few texts were exchanged before Burnham became suspicious and authorities were alerted. The incident was serious enough for Britain’s embassy in Washington to contact the White House, while concerns resurfaced over the security of Wiles’ contacts after a reported 2025 phone hack. The alarm comes amid claims Ukraine used British weapons for deep strikes inside Russia. Was this merely an impersonation attempt, or something bigger?
