The U.S. Central Command, however, issued a “fact check” saying there were no reported U.S. casualties and that damage to U.S. installations was minimal and did not affect operations, underscoring the information-war element surrounding the conflict. Meanwhile, Bloomberg reporting has warned that the duration and intensity of Iran’s missile campaign could quickly strain interceptor stockpiles across the U.S., Israel and Gulf partners.
