UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s jibe at SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and rivals months ahead of polls. Adityanath was in Etawah to inaugurate and lay foundations for several projects. Earlier on Saturday, Akhilesh referred to UP CM as ‘baba’. "During covid, i came to your district twice to check arrangements. Our mlas, with authorities & health workers, were honestly serving people. People from other parties were in home-isolation during Covid. Those who were in home-isolation when people were in crisis should remain in home-isolation during elections too. Who can’t stand with people during a crisis should be replied in a similar manner. People limited to twitter should be told ‘babua, Twitter will give you votes’," he said. Akhilesh had earlier asked UP CM to not contest elections this year. "Baba mukhua mantra should not contest an assembly seat, he is already on his way out," he had said. Uttar Pradesh is set to go to assembly polls early next year. In 2017 UP assembly polls, BJP had won with a huge margin of 312 seats. SP had bagged 47 seats, BSP won 19 while Congress won seven seats.
