Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over her recent comments on the Central forces and her appeal to minority voters to unite. Amit Shah said that the Chief Minister should know that during elections, the Election Commission controls security forces and not the home Ministry. Shah further said that the Chief Minister’s statements show that she does not want a free and fair election. Shah claimed the BJP would win about 63 to 68 seats in the three phases where polling has taken place and added that it seems that minority voters are also drifting away from the TMC.
