Modi, Yogi, Kejriwal: How Verdict 2022 shapes Indian politics for 2024 & beyond

Published on Mar 12, 2022 01:08 pm IST

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led the BJP to a thumping victory in four out of five states. The BJP, despite the 2021 covid crisis, current inflation and rising unemployment, managed to retain Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa. In his first address after poll results were out, PM Modi declared that the mandate 2022 is the indication of what lies ahead in 2024 when Lok Sabha elections will be held in the country. The PM was clearly suggesting that his party is set to return to power for the third consecutive term at the centre. Hindustan Times' Senior Editor, Aditi Prasad, decodes mandate 2022 with Hindustan Times Editor-in-Chief Sukumar Ranganathan in this episode of HT Insight.
