‘Union Ministers instigating people’: CM Mamata’s retort to BJP over violence

- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lashed out at the BJP over the violence in the state and questioned why Central Ministers were coming to the state despite restriction on political activities due to the Covid pandemic. This comes after Union Minister V Muraleedharan alleged that his convoy was attacked by ‘TMC goons’ in West Midnapore. Mamata said that the BJP had not accepted people’s mandate and said that most of the violence was concentrated in areas where the BJP candidates won. The Chief Minister also announced a compensation of 2 Lakh for the families of the victims of post-poll violence. Watch the full video for all the details.
