BJP and the Congress had deployed its top leaders in poll bound Assam and a heated war of words was witnessed during campaigning by the two camps. Home Minister Amit Shah questioned the Congress over its alliance with the AIUDF and warned that infiltration would increase if they came to power. Hitting back, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that the BJP was running a mafia in the state and added that the saffron party only believed in dividing people. She also attacked the Modi government over the CAA and lack of jobs for the youth. Assembly elections in Assam will be held in three phases starting from March 27, while the counting of votes will take place on May 2. Watch the full video for all the details.
