Jersey, RRR postponed: Omicron hits film releases after closure of cinemas

Amid the surge in Covid cases in the country, theatres in many cities have either been shut or running in half capacity. The rise in Covid-19 cases in India have raised doubts over the release of numerous films. Baahubali director SS Rajamouli's film RRR was slated to release on January 7, 2022. Due to the current Covid situation, the makers have postponed the release date of the film. No announcement has been made yet regarding the new release date. The release date of Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer film 'Jersey' has also been postponed. Watch the full video for more.
