Police case against Payal Rohatgi for controversial video on Nehru-Gandhi family

• Actor Payal Rohatgi has been booked for allegedly creating a defamatory video on Nehru-Gandhi family. The cyber police in Pune registered a case against her for creating the video & circulating it on social media. A complaint was lodged by a local Congress leader, informed an official of the Cyber police. The case was registered under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the complaint, the actor along with an unidentified person allegedly created a defamatory video about Mahatma Gandhi, former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and other members of the Gandhi family and circulated it on social media.
