Fashion meets technology in Berlin

A new initiative in Berlin, Germany called “Fashion Fusion” is promoting young talent that can combine fashion with technology to create visionary lifestyle products.

Some of the fashion on display included a dress adorned with a string of lights and light reflecting jewellery.

The curator of the exhibition, Lisa Lang, says fashion and technology must work together.

The best team receives 20,000 euros in prize money and a chance to develop the collection with the help of Deutsche Telekom and their partners. The winner will present their designs at the Berlin Fashion Week in January 2017.
