All Disney fans are aware of Minnie Mouse's style statement - the polka dot and when it was time to celebrate National Polka Dot Day, Los Angeles made her the guest of honour.

The iconic Disney character, Minnie Mouse was made the central theme on National Polka Dot Day in Los Angeles. An entire exhibition was dedicated to her style over the years and she was made the guest of honour. Minnie wore a specially designed dress by American fashion designer Christian Siriano. The exhibition was designed to display Minnie's influence over fashion throughout the decades since her creation by Walt Disney in the 1920's. Minnie Mouse first appeared in 'Steamboat Willie' in 1928.
