Father Of Florida Learjet Crash Co-Pilot Breaks Down During Press Conference

Allan Filgueiras, the father of 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Filgueiras, who died in the November 1 Learjet crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, broke down during a press conference on November 6 as he remembered his daughter. "I wanted to be by her side, inside the plane to help," he said, expressing pride in Nathalia's courage during the aircraft's final moments. The crash killed all nine people on board. Attorney Stuart Z. Grossman said Nathalia was fully qualified for the flight despite her young age and that no lawsuit was planned. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said the aircraft may have broken apart before impact.
