Hezbollah erupts as ‘nuclear-like’ blast rocks South Lebanon after IDF strike on underground complex

A massive explosion rocked southern Lebanon after an Israeli strike on what reports described as a suspected Hezbollah underground weapons complex, triggering a blast so powerful it was likened to a "nuclear-like" explosion by some reports. Hezbollah accused Israel of violating the Lebanon ceasefire and said it reserved the right to respond, while reports claimed the strike destroyed a 200-metre-long tunnel network, hundreds of stored weapons and multiple underground launch shafts, further raising tensions despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to stabilize the region.
