‘Hijab an obligation’: Zaira Wasim questions ‘injustice’ against Muslim women

- Actor Zaira Wasim is the latest among the celebrities to comment on the controversy surrounding Hijab. In a long post on Facebook, Zaira Wasim who quit acting due to religious reasons called out those making Muslim women choose between education and religion. She added that Hijab was not a choice but an obligation in Islam and it was an injustice to ask the women to choose, "I, as a woman who wears the hijab, resent and resist this entire system,' she said. Her statement comes at a time when the matter is still pending in the Karnataka High Court. Watch this video to find out what happened.
