Hours after Gaza deal, Ramaphosa stuns Netanyahu & Trump;won't let go of Israel genocide case at ICJ

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomed the Gaza peace deal but emphasized it will not impact South Africa's ongoing genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice . Ramaphosa stated that while the ceasefire and the release of hostages and prisoners are positive steps towards reconciliation, genuine justice and healing are only possible through full proceedings at the ICJ. He reiterated that South Africa’s case, which accuses Israel of genocide during the recent Gaza conflict, will advance as planned, with Israel expected to respond to legal pleadings by January.
