She framed the river’s condition as part of Delhi’s wider “legacy” pollution problem, pointing to ongoing work on sewage interception, drains and industrial discharge, while arguing that lasting change will take coordinated efforts by Delhi, neighbouring states and local residents rather than short festive clean‑ups.
