IAS officer Rakhee Gupta recalls old days as a lone woman officer in Punjab

IAS officer Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, who is the Secretary to Punjab Governor, recalls her early days in office when she felt intimidated in a male-dominated bureaucratic setup. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the IAS officer claimed that she was hounded in meetings by her male bosses with nobody ready to her point of view. The officer told Hindustan Times that she, however, braved all the challenges and never succumbed to the pressure and carved her own path to become a successful bureaucrat.
