Andhra Pradesh gets new CM, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy takes oath in Vijayawada

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took oath as Andhra Pradesh's chief minister in Vijayawada on Thursday. The YSR Congress party chief was sworn-in at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. The party made a landslide victory after securing 151 seats in the 175-member Assembly. On the eve of taking oath as the second CM of the new state of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Reddy had visited various places of worship. He offered prayers at Tirupati temple and later visited Amin Peer dargah in Kadapa district and offered a 'chadar'.
