A day after campaigning for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections ended, Prime Minister Narendra Modi meditated in a cave near Kedarnath shrine. Prior to his meditation session, the Prime Minister offered prayers at Kedarnath and reviewed the progress of the development project for the area. He is slated to visit Badrinath shrine next. On the day the campaign ended, Modi expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would secure a majority again, a feat which would be repeated after a very long time, he said. Results for the general elections will be declared on May 23.
