PM Modi’s $5 trillion economy goal powerful vision: World Bank chief

World Bank President David Malpass commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of making India's economy worth $5 trillion in 5 years. Malpass called it a 'powerful vision'. He also commented on reforms introduced by the National Democratic Alliance government since it came to power in 2014. Malpass called on Prime Minister Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during his visit to India. He also delivered the keynote address at the NITI Aayog lecture series.
