Residents hopeful as Bellandur Lake begins breathing

After battling toxic conditions for several months, residents of Bengaluru seem a bit satisfied as cleaning of the Bellandur Lake has started off. A resident of the city thanked the administration for the task. So far, half of the lake has been cleaned. The water body had been spilling toxic foam which caused inconvenience to the commuters, specifically motorcycle riders. The lake had got piled up with effluents as a result of consistent violations of the green norms nearby the region.
