Sidhu: Joining Congress is my ‘ghar vapsi’
Updated on Jan 16, 2017 02:14 pm IST
Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu declared himself a 'born Congressman' and said that his induction in the party is actually his 'ghar vapsi'. Talking about his role in the party, Sidhu said that his fight is for the redemption of Punjab as he can't see the lives of youth getting destroyed due to the drugs problems. On being asked whether he was ready to work under the Congress' chief ministerial candidate Amarinder Singh, Sidhu said if two nations can resolve issues sitting across table then why can't two individuals.
