In a shameful incident, a supervising teacher was caught on the camera helping students cheat in the ongoing Haryana Board Class 10 examination. The footage was recorded on Tuesday, during the Science paper of Class 10, at Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Jhajjar. The video shows the teacher, who was deployed to supervise the exam, herself reading out the answers to students from an answer key in her hand. Jhajjar district education officer (DEO) Satbir Siwach said taking cognisance of the video they have relieved the teacher from the duty and have started an inquiry. “We will get the inquiry reports soon after which we will see what needs to be done,” Siwach said, though maintained that the paper was not leaked in response to some reports.
