Watch | ISRO launches remote sensing satellite

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched PSLV-C36 rocket carrying remote sensing satellite RESOURCESAT-2A at 10:24 hrs (IST) today. The Space agency launched the satellite from the First Launch Pad (FLP) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. The PSLV-C36 rocket is the thirty-eighth flight of ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) which will place the 1235 kg RESOURCESAT-2A satellite into an 817 km polar Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
