Watch | ‘Motorcycle ambulance’ helps woman deliver baby in remote Chhattisgarh village
Updated on Aug 09, 2016 12:09 pm IST
A village deep in the jungle of Chhattisgarh, where four-wheelers cannot reach and the nearest hospital is miles away, help arrived in the form of a 'motorcycle ambulance'! It reached just in time and helped a woman deliver a baby. Though the concept of the motorcycle ambulance is new, it is very effective in saving lives in remote regions, where people die because they could not get medical attention on time. NGO Saathi's motorcycle ambulance initiative is jointly supported by the Chhattisgarh Health Department and UNICEF.
