Watch | Rs 1.40 crore in new notes seized, four detained

In yet another haul of cash in Mumbai, the police have seized 1.40 crore rupees from four persons on Juhu-Versova Link Road in suburban Andheri last evening. The senior police official said that the money was in the new 2,000 rupee notes. He added the cash was discovered when police stopped the car for checking. The official also said that they have informed the income tax department for the further investigation.
