Airfares to Srinagar on an all time high

Airfares to Srinagar in Kashmir have increased manifold as the tourist season starts there. The cost to fly to the Paradise on Earth has increased almost four times the normal cost in the recent couple of weeks. During May, the airfare from New Delhi to Srinagar was between rupees 2,500 to 3,500. June saw the fares shoot up till rupees 14,000 to 15,000. This trend is seen for the first time in the past four decades.
