Congress mocks BJP over remark on PM candidature

Mocking the BJP, Congress leader Jagdambika Pal today said that the BJP seemed to have many pretenders for the Prime Minister's post, whose ambition would remain unrequited. Pal made these comments in the wake of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's statement in the party's mouthpiece 'Saamana' that the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj is the only leader in the ally BJP who would make a "deserving" Prime Minister. Fellow Congress leader Girija Vyas also said that the Congress' focus on inclusive growth would bring it to power in 2014.
