CWG venues ready for any big event: Kalmadi

After several extended deadlines and last minute rush, venues for the upcoming Commonwealth games in New Delhi look good to host the biggest-ever sporting extravaganza in India. In order to douse down the fire of immense negative publicity by the local media, the Organising Committee took media persons on a guided tour of four venues for the upcoming games on Sunday. Brushing aside any apprehensions about the quality of the venues and preparedness of the sporting facilities, Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of the OC, said all venues are ready and capable of hosting any event on a short notice.
