India, Russia aiming to increase trade ties

Foreign minister SM Krishna on Monday said that India would increase interaction and amend policies to facilitate the trade relations with Russia. Earlier in the day, deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin discussed vital bilateral issues with Krishna and signed several agreements at the 18th session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC) in New Delhi. Speaking to reporters, Rogozin also said that both the countries aim to raise the volume of their business turnover to 20 billion US dollars by 2015.
