Petition against Patil to be heard

The Supreme Court will on Tuesday hear a petition seeking to cancel the nomination papers of Pratibha Patil as a presidential candidate. The petition filed by Advocate Manohar Lal Sharma was mentioned on Monday before a bench comprising Justice Tarun Chatterjee and Justice PK Balasubramanyan. In the petition, the advocate has referred to the allegations against Praitbha Patil and her family members for canceling her nomination papers.
