Updated on Dec 29, 2008 07:47 pm IST
India's Aviation Minister Praful Patel on Sunday said that all the domestic airliners including the national carrier were set to reduce fares after aviation fuel became cheaper. All airlines companies increased their fares due to sharp and continuous rise in aviation turbine fuel prices earlier in the year. Patel in Jamnagar told reporters that some of the airliners have already slashed fares by $8 to 10 and the others were expected to follow suit by January.
