Last rites of Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad was performed with full state honours, including a 21-gun salute, in his hometown Dharwad of Karnataka. Hanamanthappa was rescued alive from under 35 feet of snow six days after his post in Siachen was hit by a glacier.
