India has expressed “deep shock” over the killing of more than 100 Palestinians while trying to get aid in north Gaza. Israel, which has been accused of opening fire on the civilians, has denied charge. “We are deeply shocked at the loss of lives in Northern Gaza yesterday during the delivery of humanitarian assistance,” India’s Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. India, which shares cordial relations with Israel, had denounced Hamas’ October 7 attacks which killed nearly 1200 people. New Delhi, however, supports a two-state solution, and has been flagging the deteriorating situation in Gaza. INTERNATIONAL NEWS
