India's first pvt. space launchpad; ISRO gets a companion to blast off rockets

India's space sector zooms as the first ever startup-operated launchpad has been inaugurated. ISRO Chairman S Somanath led the first of its kind event in Andhra Pradesh. The launchpad designed and operated by space startup Agnikul Cosmos has been opened at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. This startup was incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras. Agnikul Cosmos plans to launch its customisable Agnibaan rocket from the newly launched centre in Sriharikota before the end of this year. Watch this report to know more.
