India’s Russia message amid Trump pressure, says this on Iran’s Chabahar port

India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced today that American sanctions will not apply to the Chabahar Port project in Iran, providing clarity over the strategic initiative. Under a 10-year agreement signed last year, state-run India Ports Global Ltd (IPGL) committed to invest $370 million in developing the port, which holds significant strategic importance for India’s regional connectivity and trade interests.
