India-US partner to target China's military equipment; How Biden is coaxing pro-Russia Modi

India and the U.S. are launching a partnership that aims to help the countries compete against China on military equipment, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI). The White House said that the U.S. will encourage companies from both countries to collaborate on military equipment like artillery systems. The announcement came after India's National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, held a meeting with his American counterpart, Jake Sullivan, in Washington. The two officials reportedly discussed the China challenge at length. Notably, New Delhi has frustrated Washington with its stand on Russia amid the ongoing Ukraine war. But Washington has held its tongue, nudging the country on Russia while condoning India's more hawkish stance on China. It seems that the United States sees the China challenge as an opportunity to unite with "pro-Russia" India amid changing global dynamics.
