Iranian lawmakers Esmail Kowsari and Vahid Ahmadi said no NPT withdrawal bill had reached the relevant parliamentary committee, contradicting earlier claims. Meanwhile, Supreme National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei accused the IAEA of “political moves,” after the watchdog escalated the issue to the UN Security Council over concerns surrounding Iran’s nuclear activities.
