Iran slams Trump’s ‘incomplete’ response to Hormuz plan | Will Tehran reject US demands?

Iran has criticised Donald Trump’s response to its proposed seven-point plan concerning the Strait of Hormuz, describing the US position as insufficient and raising fresh doubts about a diplomatic breakthrough. The dispute highlights continuing differences between Washington and Tehran over maritime security, regional tensions and the terms of a possible agreement. As Trump maintains pressure on Iran, Tehran is also emphasising its strong relationship with Moscow, with officials describing Iran-Russia ties as “very good.” Could Putin’s backing strengthen Tehran’s negotiating position, or will the competing demands keep the Hormuz standoff unresolved? The outcome could have major implications for global shipping, energy markets and Middle East security.
