Iran has unveiled its heaviest-ever offshore oil platform, marking a major milestone for the country's energy sector despite years of Western sanctions. The 6,200-ton P4 platform has been installed at the Reshadat oilfield in the Persian Gulf and is expected to increase production by 35,000 barrels per day. Iranian officials say the massive structure was fully designed and built domestically, showcasing the country's growing engineering capabilities. The platform can also inject 80,000 barrels of water daily to sustain reservoir pressure. The development comes as Iranian oil exports surge, strengthening Tehran's position in global energy markets.
