China is reportedly exploring new ways to detect and counter stealth aircraft, drawing lessons from Iran’s conflict with the U.S. PLA teams have reportedly tested coordinated use of infrared-guided MANPADS and HQ-16 air-defence missiles against simulated low-signature targets, while Beijing continues investing in low-frequency radars, data links and multistatic detection systems.
